Defendant Lakeview Education Association, Inc., appeals as of right from an order of the Macomb Circuit Court denying its motion for judgment notwithstanding the verdict or, in the alternative, a new trial or remittitur, following entry of judgment on a special jury verdict for plaintiff Marlene Silbert awarding her $25,000 in mental distress damages, plus $2,500 in attorney fees.
