Pedro and Jose Hernandez (respectively, "Pedro" and "Jose") appeal their convictions of four felonies relating to the counterfeiting of audio cassettes and labels. They both claim there was insufficient evidence to convict them, and they both appeal their sentences. Jose makes two additional claims: first, he appeals the district court's refusal to sever his trial from Pedro's; second, he appeals the court's refusal to grant him a mistrial based...
