Mary J. Jenkins was charged on July 18, 1990, by bill of information with violations of LSA-R.S. 40:967, distribution of cocaine (two counts), and R.S. 14:95.1, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. She was arraigned on August 7, 1990, and pled not guilty. At a hearing on September 4, 1990, probable cause was found and a Motion to Suppress the Evidence was denied.
