Defendant, Willie Conway, Jr., was charged by bill of indictment with two counts of distribution of marijuana, in violation of LSA-R.S. 40:966, and two counts of distribution of cocaine, in violation of LSA-R.S. 40:967. A jury found him guilty as charged. The trial court sentenced defendant on each count to serve seven years at hard labor with the sentences to be served consecutively.
