LaTee's Beauty School ("LaTee's") opened on the south side of Chicago in 1972, purportedly to train students to become licensed beauticians and barbers. LaTee's was a failure as an educational institution. No more than twenty or thirty students ever attended classes on a regular basis, even though student enrollment grew at times to around 200.
