Husband appeals and wife cross-appeals an order modifying the judgment dissolving their marriage. On de novo review, we modify the order.

In August, 1988, the parties' 19-year marriage was dissolved. They had two children. At the time of the dissolution, husband's gross earnings were approximately $50,000 per year from Central Lincoln PUD, where he had worked for 18 years. He was living with his future spouse...
