SEXTON, Judge.

The defendant, George E. White, was charged with and, following a jury trial, was convicted of armed robbery in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:64. He was sentenced to 20 years at hard labor without benefit of probation, parole, or suspension of sentence. On appeal, the defendant argues there was insufficient evidence to support his conviction and claims that his sentence is excessive.
