Kirk V. Davis suffered a scraped elbow and a one-inch cut in his temple when the Calumet Park Police arrested him in February 1988. A jury in this suit under 42 U.S.C. § 1983 determined that the police had not used excessive force in reducing Davis to custody. 737 F.Supp. 1039.
