The defendant, Demetrious Brown, was charged by bill of information with armed robbery, La.R.S. 14:64. He proceeded to a jury trial and was found guilty as charged. The trial court later sentenced him to 15 years at hard labor without benefit of parole, probation or suspension of sentence.
