Defendant, Ozzie Wallace, was charged by indictment with armed robbery. (Ill. Rev.Stat.1983, ch. 38, par. 18(2)(a).) Following a joint bench trial with co-defendant Dwayne King, he was found guilty and sentenced to six years' imprisonment. Codefendant King was acquitted.
