Following a jury trial, defendant Robert Nicholson was convicted of possession of a stolen motor vehicle and criminal trespass to vehicle. Defendant was subsequently sentenced to serve a term of six years' imprisonment. On appeal defendant argues that (1) the trial court erred in ruling that he failed to establish a prima facie case of racial discrimination in the State's exercise of its peremptory challenges...
