Defendant, National Tea Company, appeals from a judgment against it and in favor of plaintiff, Randy P. Manieri, in the amount of $12,500.

In rendering its judgment, the trial court applied the evidentiary defense burden described in McCardie v. Wal-Mart Stores, 511 So.2d 1134 (La.1987), rather than the burden of exculpation set forth in LSA-R.S. 9:2800...
