Donald King admitted to forcing a girl's car off the road on January 22, 1989, threatening her and stabbing her several times in the back before she freed herself from him. As a result of this conduct, King was charged with aggravated battery, DUI and attempted kidnapping, but he later pled guilty to an amended information charging him with aggravated battery with an enhancement for the use of a weapon.
