This is one of three actions brought against the same defendants by Mesa Police Department employees based on the same factual circumstances and making the same claims.1 As in the other actions, plaintiff Bennie Gonzalez claims she was wrongfully discharged in retaliation for filing a worker's compensation claim for injuries allegedly caused by "sensitivities" to paint fumes during construction...
