Theron Seales was convicted in the Circuit Court of Jefferson County of the first degree rape of his seven-year-old stepdaughter. The Court of Criminal Appeals reversed the conviction and rendered a judgment in Seales's favor. Seales v. State, 581 So.2d 1188 (Ala.Crim.App.1990).
