Defendant, William Jack Nelson, appeals from a judgment of the circuit court of Kane County which found him guilty of driving under the influence of alcohol pursuant to section 11-501(a) of the Illinois Vehicle Code (Vehicle Code) (Ill.Rev.Stat. 1989, ch. 95½, par. 11-501(a)). Defendant was sentenced to 12 months' probation, was ordered to pay court costs of $155 and was required to attend treatment counseling...
