The child appeals from an order committing him to the custody of the New Mexico Youth Authority following his plea of no contest to a charge of involuntary manslaughter. The single issue raised on appeal is whether the children's court abused its discretion in ordering the child's transfer to the custody of the Youth Authority for an indeterminate period not exceeding two years.
