This is an appeal from a trial court judgment in favor of the defendants and against the plaintiffs dismissing their claim for damages in a medical malpractice suit.

FACTS

Ora Fay Galloway was admitted to Baton Rouge General Hospital on August 20, 1979, for surgery. On August 21, 1979, Dr. Anthony S. Ioppolo, a neurosurgeon, performed a C4-5 discectomy and a C5-6 anterior cervical fusion and decompression. The surgery was completed...
