Defendants, Andrew Gray and James Lynch, a/k/a Carl Smith, were charged by Bill of Information with a violation of LSA-R.S. 40;967(C), possession of a controlled dangerous substance, to-wit: cocaine. Both defendants moved to suppress the evidence alleging the cocaine was unlawfully and illegally seized. After hearing, the trial court denied the motion to suppress and defendants pled guilty as charged; reserving their rights to appeal the denial...
