This is a consolidated appeal arising from the defendant's conviction for three counts of robbery in the first degree, § 569.020, RSMo 1986, and three counts of armed criminal action, § 571.015, RSMo 1986. The conviction was obtained in the Circuit Court of the City of St. Louis and the defendant was sentenced to terms totalling thirty years.
