FACTS

In 1950, plaintiff, William Dunn, first went to work as a pipe installer's helper for Dow Chemical in Texas. A pipe installer performs the job of fitting insulation over pipes. This often requires cutting, sawing or pounding the insulation which creates dust. During plaintiff's career, this dust often contained asbestos.
