This is an appeal from a conviction of voluntary manslaughter. Wilbert James Hamilton, appellant, was indicted for the felony offense of murder, pled not guilty and was tried by a jury. The jury convicted appellant of voluntary manslaughter and assessed punishment at 20 years confinement in the Institutional Division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
