Adrian C. Waguespack originally was indicted for distribution of cocaine. Pursuant to plea negotiations, the state amended the charge to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute cocaine, a violation of La.R.S. 40:967(A)(1) and 14:26.1 The state also dismissed seven other indictments.
