Neal Caauwe (Caauwe), plaintiff, appeals a trial court's affirmance of a decision of the Police Pension Board of the Village of Midlothian (Pension Board) denying him a line of duty disability pension. The Pension Board denied Caauwe's application for a 65% policeman's disability pension under the Illinois Pension Code. (Ill.Rev.Stat. 1987, ch. 108½, par. 3-101 et seq.)
