OPINION ON APPELLANTS' PTITIONS FOR DISCRETIOARY REVIEW

CAMPBELL, Judge.

Appellants, Ralph Castillo and Christopher Castillo, were tried jointly and found guilty of the offense of engaging in organized criminal activity. Tex.Penal Code § 71.02(a)(5). The jury assessed punishment for each at imprisonment for 65 years and a fine of $100,000. The Tenth Court of Appeals subsequently affirmed both convictions in an unpublished opinion. Castillo v.
