OPINION

WILSON, Justice.

Appellant's first conviction for the offense of attempted capital murder was reversed and remanded for a new trial. In the first trial, appellant pled guilty to the offense, and was tried solely on punishment, which the jury assessed at 30 years confinement. After a full trial before a different judge on remand, the jury found appellant guilty of attempted capital murder, and the trial judge assessed punishment at 50 years confinement...
