OPINION

DAUGHTREY, Justice.

This is an appeal by the Second Injury Fund from the trial court's determination that the Fund is liable for a portion of the workers' compensation award to the plaintiff, Floyd Gibson. The Fund contends that the chancellor erred in finding that Gibson had filed his claim against the Fund within the one-year statute of limitations. We agree with the chancellor's ruling that the claim was not barred by the statute of limitations...
