Defendant, Dennis Thomas, was convicted by a Vermilion county jury of two counts of delivery of 15 grams, but less than 100 grams of a substance containing cocaine. (Ill.Rev.Stat.1989, ch. 56½, par. 1401(a)(2).) Defendant was tried jointly with codefendant Frank Miles, who was convicted as well.
