ANDREWS, Judge.

On January 22, 1988, a jury convicted Dominic J. Salvato of one count of theft in the second degree. Superior Court Judge Thomas E. Schulz sentenced Salvato to three years' imprisonment, with all but six months suspended, and ordered him to pay restitution in the amount of $22,500. Salvato appeals, claiming Judge Schulz erred by not requiring the jury to return a mandatory special verdict...
