International Maintenance Corporation (defendant) is appealing a district court judgment that awarded Henry Guinn (plaintiff) $14,882.40 in statutory penalties along with an additional $2,000.00 in attorney fees for defendant's failure to pay plaintiff $33.09 in wages due him within 72 hours after he resigned his position.
