Defendant Darren Jay Dennison, an Indian, was convicted after a jury trial of the following crimes committed in Indian country: aggravated sexual abuse, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to do bodily harm, assault resulting in serious bodily injury, and burglary, in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 1152, 1153, 2241(a), 113(c) & (f), 13, and N.M.Stat.Ann. § 30-16-3.
