This is a suit for breach of contract, brought in federal court under the diversity jurisdiction and governed, with respect to all substantive questions, by the law of Wisconsin. The district judge after a bench trial awarded damages and injunctive relief to the plaintiffs — affiliated Scandinavian corporations that we shall call "Sunds." He also awarded Sunds its reasonable attorney's fees, on the basis of a provision in the contract...
