Plaintiff Equal Employment Opportunity Commission ("EEOC") filed this action against defendant Independent Stave Company, Inc. alleging that defendant's failure to recall Verna Turner from a layoff violated Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e, et seq., and Section 7(b) of the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967, as amended, 29 U.S.C. § 621, et seq....
