This is a medical malpractice suit in which the plaintiff sued a hospital and an emergency room physician, claiming the physician was negligent in removing a cast from her arm. The plaintiff asserted the doctor cut her skin with the cast-cutting instrument, resulting in two wounds on her right forearm that left noticeable and unsightly scars.
