Defendant James R. Lawrence was charged and convicted of the offense of unlawful possession with intent to deliver more than 100 grams of a substance containing cocaine, a Class X felony (Ill.Rev. Stat.1989, ch. 56½, par. 1401), and was sentenced to nine years' imprisonment. Defendant appeals, contending the conduct of the law enforcement officers involved was so outrageous his due process rights were violated...
