Defendant Eddie J. Bartee, Jr., was charged by indictment with one count of attempted armed robbery (Ill.Rev.Stat. 1989, ch. 38, pars. 8-4(a)). Following trial by jury, defendant was found guilty as charged and sentenced to a 12-year term of imprisonment. Defendant now appeals his conviction. We affirm.
