Deloris Tollison filed a petition for dissolution of marriage in the circuit court of St. Clair County against John Tollison on November 28, 1983. The parties had eight children, five of whom were minors at the time. John was subsequently ordered to pay $500 per month in temporary child support. On January 13, 1984, John filed a petition to modify alleging that Deloris had voluntarily relinquished custody...
