GRANT, Justice.

James Wesley Taylor appeals from a conviction for possession of a controlled substance; namely, cocaine, weighing less than twenty-eight grams. Taylor pled guilty, and pursuant to a plea bargain agreement, the court assessed his punishment at five years in the penitentiary and a fine of $75.00 and granted him probation. Taylor contends that the district court lacked jurisdiction in this case because he should have been prosecuted...
