STEWART, Judge.

Defendant, Robert Paul Jones, was charged by bill of information with driving while intoxicated-third offense, a violation of LSA-R.S. 14:98. A jury found defendant guilty as charged and he was subsequently sentenced to serve four years at hard labor, one year of which is to be served without benefit of probation, parole, or suspension of sentence. Defendant was also sentenced to pay a fine of $1,000 or six
