Following a bench trial, the defendant Wade Stallings was convicted of murder and sentenced to a prison term of 24 years. He contends on appeal that he was not proved guilty beyond a reasonable doubt and that his sixth amendment right to present a defense was violated because essential evidence was destroyed. The defendant also contends that he was prejudiced by the admission of certain hearsay evidence...
