This matter comes before the Supreme Court on the defendant's appeal from a conviction of one count of conspiracy to violate the Rhode Island Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations statute (Rhode Island RICO statute) and three counts of receiving stolen goods. The defendant does not appeal his conviction for filing a false or an erroneous statement with the Bristol police. We reverse...
