This case raises the issue whether Wanda Palmer has a cause of action under 46 U.S.C.App. § 688 of the Jones Act or general maritime law. Because we agree with the district court that Palmer has no cause of action under the Jones Act, we affirm the district court's grant of summary judgment to Fayard Moving and Transportation Corporation ("Fayard") on this point.
