This suit charges the American subsidiary of a Japanese company with discriminating against its American executives on the basis of their age and national origin, in violation of the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, 29 U.S.C. § 626(b), and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e et seq., respectively. A jury and judge (only the age claim was triable to a jury, since Title VII authorizes only equitable relief...
