Appellants challenge the district court's refusal to recuse and its grant of summary judgment to the defendants/appellees. We affirm.

As a preliminary matter, we note that appellees have moved to strike certain portions of appellants' brief and for sanctions, because the brief refers to newspaper articles not presented to the district court.
