Randy Don Landin was convicted of first degree premeditated murder, Minn.Stat. § 609.185(1) (1990), for the shooting death of Kathleen Nesser and sentenced to life imprisonment. On appeal, Landin seeks reversal of his conviction, claiming there was insufficient evidence to support his murder conviction. In the alternative, he seeks a new trial, arguing that the trial court committed reversible error by admitting evidence of his 1979 second degree...
