Century Investment Fund VIII [Century], a Wisconsin Limited Partnership presently under chapter 11 protection in bankruptcy, is the owner of the Alhambra Village Apartments in DePere, Wisconsin. First Bank [Bank] holds the first mortgage on the apartment complex. In this appeal we are asked to determine whether the Bank perfected its security interest in the rents and other income from that real estate prior to Century's bankruptcy filing...
