OPINION

CORNYN, Justice.

Gordon Roark brought this action for specific performance of an alleged contract among Robert B. Stallworth, Jr.,1 Stallworth Oil & Gas, Inc. (Respondents), and himself. The trial court rendered summary judgment for Respondents on the ground that they had conclusively established that there was no consideration for the alleged contract. The court of appeals affirmed the trial court's judgment.
