Plaintiffs commenced this action in the Circuit Court of Lee County, Mississippi, seeking actual, compensatory, and punitive damages due to the alleged failure by the original defendants, Pilot Life Insurance Company and Superior Products Sales, Inc., to pay benefits due under a group insurance plan. Pilot Life and Superior Products removed the case to this court, invoking the court's jurisdiction under 28 U.S.C. § 1441...
