This is an appeal from a decision of the superior court after a bench trial. The Estate of Ruth Croxton (the Estate) sought to hold Crowley Maritime Corporation (Crowley), the parent company of Croxton's employer, vicariously liable for the alleged negligence of Tim Morrison, which it claimed was a cause of the work-related plane accident that took Croxton's life.
