Gregory Scott Engle was convicted of the first-degree murder of Eleanor Tolin. According to the record, Engle, together with Rufus Stevens, kidnapped Ms. Tolin from a convenience store, took her to a wooded area, raped her, strangled her, and stabbed her to death.
